Working with Movement :: Profound. Sustainable. Therapeutic.

By working with movement, I offer you support, space, and guidance, as well as expertise and experience on your path to comprehensive well-being.

The focus is on promoting development through sensorimotor access, regulating the nervous system, and questioning habits in order to support long-term, sustainable health.

This can, for example, reduce pain, decrease movement restrictions, improve sleep, stabilize mental well-being, and maintain or promote mobility.

Children with special needs and developmental challenges benefit particularly from this holistic approach.

I was introduced to movement as a child because of my poor gross motor coordination. It was through rhythmics lessons that I later discovered classical ballet, followed by contemporary dance, aikido, aikitaisō and the Feldenkrais Method.

The Feldenkrais Method®

The Feldenkrais Method® offers a new and unique approach to learning, using movement as its primary tool.

Moshe Feldenkrais (1904–1984), the creator of this method, was trained in physics and martial arts (judo and jiu-jitsu). He applied scientific principles to establish this innovative path that allows everyone to develop their potential. He chose movement as a tool for achieving clarity in thought and action, because the quality of our movements reflects our entire being.

The method thus creates conditions for learning to feel, differentiate, change perspective on the same movement, regulate, and break free from compulsion. It brings us a new awareness of ourselves, others, and the environment. It opens up new perspectives, makes the unthinkable real, and makes an important contribution to the edifice of our humanity, to the union of soul, mind, and body.

Sensing Listening Moving

A movement training based on the Feldenkrais® method and incorporating approaches from aikido and contemporary dance.

The emphasis is on organic movement and learning. This stimulates the sensorimotor system and improves coordination and movement control. Fluidity of movement (flow) is promoted and overall well-being is supported.

The somatic approach ensures that this training is suitable for all levels of experience.

Aikitaisō - Japanese yoga

Aikitaisō harmonizes internal and external energies and has a positive effect on posture, well-being, and personal development. It is part of Kobayashi Hirokazu’s Aikidō.

It includes various dynamic movements, resting postures, walking, and meditation.

The emphasis is on the energetic and dynamic aspects of movement. This differs from the Feldenkrais method, which focuses on calm observation.
